New Agentic AI Platform launch at the London Stock Exchange

IntelliAM, a UK-listed industrial AI company, today launches its end-to-end industrial intelligence platform at the London Stock Exchange promising to drive massive productivity gains for companies worldwide.

The platform, which cracks the code of industrial performance, marks a major opportunity to transform global industry by driving massive productivity gains without requiring major capital investment.

The launch, at London Stock Exchange, completes IntelliAM’s Industrial Intelligence Platform, bringing together trusted industrial data, operational understanding and intelligent action within a single integrated technology ecosystem.

Enigma, the final layer of the tech stack, represents an important step in IntelliAM’s development. It extends IntelliAM’s existing capabilities beyond data collection, asset monitoring and operational analysis, enabling AI agents to recommend and, where appropriate, initiate actions based on live manufacturing conditions.

The completed platform comprises three interconnected layers:

  • IntelliAM 53 creates clean, trusted machine and asset data.

  • Decipher converts that data into contextual operational understanding.

  • Enigma uses agentic AI to recommend and initiate intelligent operational action.

Together, these capabilities are designed to help manufacturers improve asset reliability, production efficiency and operational decision-making without requiring substantial investment in new production infrastructure.

Manufacturing businesses have invested heavily in connected equipment, sensors and data platforms, but much of the resulting information remains fragmented, difficult to interpret or insufficiently connected to operational decision-making.

IntelliAM’s proposition is that manufacturers generally do not lack data; they lack the ability to convert that data consistently into timely, commercially valuable action.

The ecosystem has been developed to address that gap.

The commercial opportunity is potentially significant. In the UK food and drink manufacturing industry alone, which generates approximately £37.3 billion in annual Gross Value Added, a 2% productivity improvement would be equivalent to approximately £746 million of additional annual economic value. A 5% improvement would equate to approximately £1.865 billion.

These figures illustrate the scale of value available from relatively modest improvements in manufacturing performance, particularly in high-volume industries where downtime, waste, energy consumption and production variability have a direct impact on margins.

IntelliAM’s platform has been developed using more than a decade of manufacturing and engineering expertise and is built around real factory-floor data rather than generic, open-source information.

The platform currently processes more than 16 billion industrial data points annually and has been deployed within complex manufacturing environments, including those operated by Müller, Hovis and SKF.

IntelliAM already works with half of the world’s 12 largest food and drink manufacturers.

At the London Stock Exchange launch, representatives from Müller will discuss their experience of working with IntelliAM and the operational improvements achieved through the deployment of its technology.

At one Müller manufacturing site, IntelliAM’s technology contributed to a reported 215% improvement in mean time between failures over a 12-month period. This demonstrates the potential financial impact of converting industrial data into better maintenance and operational decisions.

The completion of the platform creates opportunities for IntelliAM to deepen its relationships with existing customers while also expanding into new manufacturing sites, sectors and international markets.

IntelliAM’s existing customer footprint provides a route through which additional capabilities can be introduced progressively. Customers may begin by creating a trusted industrial data foundation through IntelliAM 53, extend into operational analysis through Decipher and subsequently adopt Enigma’s agentic decision-support capabilities.

This integrated structure is intended to support:

  • expansion across additional sites within existing customer groups;

  • increased software and subscription value per customer;

  • longer-term customer relationships;

  • additional use cases across maintenance, reliability and production;

  • international growth, particularly in major manufacturing markets; and

  • the development of a growing body of proprietary industrial data and operational knowledge.

The platform has also been designed to work with existing manufacturing infrastructure, allowing customers to seek productivity improvements without necessarily replacing major production assets or undertaking extensive capital programmes.

The intelligence platform also addresses the shortage of experienced engineering and manufacturing personnel.

Technology has been designed to capture and apply specialist operational knowledge, enabling experienced teams to make faster and more consistent decisions while helping less experienced employees benefit from embedded engineering expertise.

Rather than replacing manufacturing personnel, IntelliAM intends the platform to act as a force multiplier, allowing scarce technical knowledge to be deployed more effectively across multiple assets, production lines and sites.

This capability is particularly relevant to large manufacturers operating increasingly complex and highly automated production environments while facing shortages of experienced maintenance and engineering personnel.

The launch strengthens IntelliAM’s position as a differentiated, AI-native industrial technology company and marks the transition from individual monitoring and analytical capabilities to a comprehensive Industrial Intelligence Platform designed to improve both operational and financial performance.

Tom Clayton, Chief Executive Officer of IntelliAM AI, said: “Manufacturers do not have a data problem; they have a decision problem. Enigma is the final layer and completes the connection between trusted industrial data, operational understanding and intelligent action.

“Our technology is built on real manufacturing environments, established engineering expertise and the operational challenges faced by major manufacturers every day.

“The completion of our Industrial Intelligence Platform significantly strengthens IntelliAM’s proposition. It gives us the opportunity to deliver greater value to existing customers, expand across additional manufacturing sites and address a substantial international market for industrial productivity technology.”

IntelliAM’s potential has also been recognised by The Bessemer Society in its research into manufacturing across the Don Valley Corridor.

A report published earlier this month (July) identified the combination of Sheffield’s established strengths in artificial intelligence and digital manufacturing, together with the persistent productivity gap across parts of the regional manufacturing base, as a significant opportunity for investors, businesses and policymakers.

The report stated: “Sheffield has genuine world-class R&D strengths in AI and digital manufacturing. It also has a productivity gap in its SME base that is wide, well-documented and closing too slowly. Understanding both, clearly and without spin, is what allows investors and policymakers to see where the real opportunity lies, and how the blockers can be removed or overcome.”

IntelliAM is well positioned within this opportunity, combining industrial AI technology, manufacturing expertise and an established customer base to address measurable productivity, reliability and skills challenges across manufacturing.
